2013 was a great year for Quote Unquote.  16 shows with over 100 performers!  So many incredible stories.  We are off for the holidays, but are excited to get a fresh start in 2014.  I hope everyone has a safe and story-worthy end to 2013.

This past Tuesday, we had our very first night at the Hollywood Improv.  8pm headlining show.  The line up was tremendous and with the Martin Diller Trio sitting in to back us up with some jazz… it was incredible to start.  What followed was something I will never forget.  180 people in the house.  Bill Burr swinging by to do some time.  It was magic.  The buzz was great, and I cannot wait for TUESDAY AUGUST 13th, when we return to the Improv!  Line up to come!

When I started Quote Unquote, I was given an opportunity to perform the show at a little 50 seat theatre called the Hollywood Improv Lab.  It was a small space that allowed comedians to come in and experiment with shows and new material without the pressure of being a hit right off the bat.  It was a safe place to try shit out.  So much good came out of that space.  I did almost two years worth of shows in that little venue.  Sadly though, the lab got closed down.  It was in need of a facelift, and when that happened, Quote Unquote was homeless until the Lyric Hyperion swooped us up (and they’ve been great!).  Now, the Hollywood Improv has been renovated and looks amazing and they have invited us out to perform on the main stage.  I couldn’t be more excited!  So, Tuesday June 25th at 8pm, Quote Unquote will get to share a stage with some incredible comics that I’ve looked up to for a very long time.  Performing Quote Unquote on this stage was a pipe dream when I created the show and now it’s arrived.  I hope you will come out and watch.   It’s going to be a fun one.
